Wike

Gov. Wike
Governor Nyeson Wike of River State, has finally commented on the demolition of two hotels Prodest Home, Alode, Eleme, and Etemeteh Hotel, Onne by his government.

According to him, the owner of the hotel is a hard man who boasted that no one could stop him from operating it.

Wike told AIT on Monday:
Me, as a governor I never knew that hotel can be in that area. When they were taking me there, I hala but they said Oga relax, you will see with your eyes. I was shocked on getting there. Thank God for this Covid 19 that exposed it. Another matter that came up, that boy owner is a hard man. He was declared wanted 3 years ago. He is said to be a youth leader of my Party PDP. thank God is not APC or any other party. He was making noise about that nobody can stop his hotel from operating. Our initial team was attacked and seriously injured. So, I led the demolition team.

That is our executive order? Any hotel that operates during the lockdown will be demolished. Our first index case came from a hotel in Port Harcourt.

The former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Chief Onueze Okocha (SAN) has confirmed that the Executive Orders signed by Rivers State Governor,  Nyesom Ezenwo Wike are appropriate. Okocha (SAN) advised anyone who is uncomfortable with the Executive Orders should approach the courts.
